Thank you!

Thank you Diane - If the Owl is your Spirit Guide I think you will really like the next painting I upload (will be a couple days as it has to dry before I can scan the original)

Another wonderful piece. The owl is my spirit guide.

Varvara - Thank you for the kind words regarding this portrait!

What a great portrait!!!!

Evelyn - I think you are excellent with words as your comment is greatly appreciated, and it is very inspiring to know that there are people who appreciate this type of subject matter and art. The original of this painting just found a new home in the UK recently!

Your artwork is just totally amazing the thought going into each piece is just wonderful I'm sorry I'm not very good with words I love your artwork

Donna -Thank you for the kind words regarding this piece.

Incredible. He has a wizardly/shaman/shapeshifter way and look about him and it's only natural that his spirit companion is the wise owl. You own a beautiful gift, JW. :)

The greatest compliment one can receive is for the Viewer to continue to interpret the scene - to inspire the Viewer to become a part of the scene by comment and/or interpretation is the best I could ever hope to achieve - my sincere Thank You for your compliment. : )

i am interpreting a red moon in a turbulent sky over his head as if an omen of his thoughts to come. The look on his face is perfect and the owl is a great lead into the scene. The gaze of both subjects create a "v" back to the center of your painting thus holding the viewer in the moment. Very nicely done on all levels. cj
