Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

My greatest love is portrait painting. I don't think there is anything more emotional and intimate than allowing myself to carefully examine and recreate every tiny nuance of a person's face, appreciating the unique combination of elements that makes them unlike anyone else. On a portrait, if you miss any dimension by even a millimeter, you lose a bit of the person. It is a meticulous process to recreate such a miracle as a human or animal face. For me, portrait painting allows me to express my love in a way that nothing else ever could. Each finished piece is a visual love poem. This is a self portrait taken from a photo from the 1960's. I loved painting this and I love looking at it. The color palette and the feeling make me smile. I spend a great deal of time painting on very large walls and surfaces.
