Shadowed rivets on the exterior of a tanker car captured at the Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, Missouri where they specialize in collecting important old pieces of rail road history. 1/10 sec, f11, 35mm.

About Christopher McKenzie

As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, but as an adult I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture images with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels. Some of my images have a slightly altered reality to them, but the ultimate goal is to grab the viewers' attention by offering them something visually stimulating and hopefully...
