The metal prints are my favorite! Amazing color, sheen, quality!

The first metal print they sent me had streaking in the paint from shrink wrapping the piece before it had fully dried. Thankfully, I reached out to Fineart and sent them photos of the streaking in the painting, and they sent me a new reprint without any blemishes at no charge. They requested I keep, donate, or discard the old painting. I took the flawed print to my office and kept the clean print at home. Very pleased with the customer service and the end result, a beautiful picture of sunset at Morro Rock on the North beach side. I got a huge print, about 43x39 inches. See below. This photo makes it look much smaller than it looks in person.

Artist's Description

Wheatear. Historical artwork of a wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe), a small, ground-dwelling bird. It feeds on insects and other small invertebrates. It is a migrant, spending the summer in Britain and other parts of Eurasia, and wintering in central Africa. This is a male wheatear the female lacks the grey head and neck, and black eye stripe. It may reach a length of around 15 centimetres. This artwork was drawn by Archibald Thorburn (1860-1935).

About Sheila Terry

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
