How do you retire a Commercial Shrimp Boat? This old vessel appears to be put out to pasture. The barnacle encrsuted and rusty hull were my second and third clues. Notice the gray gull on the mast and the rest of the fishing fleet moored at the seawall. Oh... where are you when the draft of the ship exceeds the depth of the water?

I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, when I was six or seven years old, and I've been hooked on the art of photography ever since. A year or so later, I got my first processing and print making kit and I began to realize that I could be as creative, if not more so, in the darkroom than in the field. Over the years, my cameras and darkroom got more complex, giving me more creative tools to work with. About 10 years ago, I traded film, chemicals, tanks, trays, and the smell, for a digital camera and a copy of Photoshop. I never looked back.

I currently live in Surprise, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Maine, where my interest in photograhy was discovered. I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, when I was six or seven years old, and I've been hooked on the art of photography ever since.
