I was disappointed that the image on this pouch was not very clear. The zipper doesn't work real well, either.

A policeman chats with a royal guard in Pall Mall while waiting for the parades for the Trooping the Colour ceremonies. Since 1748 Trooping the Colour has also marked the official birthday of the British king or queen. It normally takes place on the 2nd Saturday in June and is a major London tourist attraction, with parades by the various regiments of the Queen's (King's when the monarch is male) Guard and Household Division.

I would love to have this in Best of British group - great expression on the policeman's face
James Brunker replied:
Thank you Michaela, I've just added it! I liked his expression too, I prefer this shot to most of the ones I have of the actual parades, a nice candid moment that's a bit different.

Thank you all for your kind comments! I've noticed with festivals that often the more interesting images come from the preparations rather than the main event (which is what most people tend to shoot), as well as being a good way to fill the time

A great capture James... I like your title you wrote to go with the photo. Great shot!
