In Winston Salem, NC, USA, the oldest section showcases historic houses lining hand-laid stone streets, preserving the Moravian history dating back to the 1700s. During elementary school, field trips to the area allowed me to witness volunteers re-enacting the Moravians' daily life, from candle-making to the procedures for how they pulled teeth back then. Seeing this little house while on a walk, sparked the idea to imagining how it might have looked back in the day.
