This is freedom. You hesitate to break the silence but the attraction is too great. You begin to glide; your arms swing up and push back; you get into a cross-country rhythm, laying tracks to the sound of whispering snow, like this member of Kicking Horse Ski Club in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada.
