Featured on the Home Pages of Fine Art America Groups! This luscious white Hibiscus flower was an indoor friend who loved her sunny window. I gently misted her with water, and on a lazy afternoon, this perfect flower seemed to exhale, and gently send her perfume wafting upwards. The closer I looked at it as I painted, I saw more and more details, so from each water droplet which clung to the petals, to the delicately colored veins, and the hint of blue in the white petals, I did my very best to capture this beauty. This oil painting was done using the Chiaroscuro method in a hyper-realistic style.
