Such a great experience to attend a local orchid show. I love the softness of these orchids, opening my eyes to the beauty of them.
I am a former educator, having spent 38 years in Nebraska and Iowa. In 2006 I returned to my love of art and began shooting nature, landscape, wildlife, and weddings. I loved the midwestern states but have also enjoyed traveling across the US and internationally. Taking photos of the special visions I saw prompted many of these photos. You will see shots in Iowa, California, Montana, Wyoming in the US and shots from Italy, Greece, the Philippines, Great Britain, Germany and so on in this portfolio. In June-July 2018 I travelled to Kenya and Tanzania, East Africa. There will be photos added as I process them. I use a Canon 5D MK IV camera and Canon prime and telephoto lenses.
