A Oriental Lily flower bud prepares to bloom in this macro (close-up) photograph. I first started shooting flowers several years ago during a walk around a pond near my home. When summer was over, I bought floral arrangements at the grocery store and brought them home to shoot in a makeshift studio in my kitchen. I continue to shoot them almost every day.
