Old period buildings in WRJ or White River Junction Vermont. Situated an the junction of the Connecticut River and the White river, which makes sense given its name. These old stores no longer have businesses in them but the signage is still here to let us know what was once here. I had never heard of a Ice cream station and I could really use a coffee at that coffee house right now! with an icecream chaser! The old style lamp post has probably been there since electricity was first run into this part of town, back in the early 1900s. I love the rural Americana and especially the transom panes above the green door in the brick building next to the Ice cream station.
