The White-rumped Shama was brought here from Malaysia. This one visited every year but this past season, my maturing loquat tree cleaned itself by shedding its leaves. The Shama sits in the exact same place it built its nest for the last three years, only now it found only bare branches. It skipped a year of nest building and the next, came back and built higher up in the branches.
