Thanks Robert! It was a most unique experience for sure. I was blessed to be able to hang out with this little fellow for approx. 15 minutes, before deciding to give his Mom an opportunity to come back for him. While he was close enough that I could have continually had my hand on his back, I chose to forego the touching, in case Mom would have rejected him again, once smelling human on him. Not sure if that is 100% true or not but didn't wanna risk it for my little buddy that day.
