Hany J replied:

Thank you again Beth. It is always very intriguing to me when I see a statue of some public figure in a public place; I always want to know who is that person and what their contribution is to society. Don't know if you ever been to Paris, but this statue is right in front of the Trocadero where the Eiffel Tower is. So glad you like this, and thank you for the visit. I sincerely appreciate it.

I bought this shower curtain for my customer and she left this review: "Matches my bathroom perfect. I think it is more of a pale greenish yellow than just yellow. Love it!"

I love it! It reminds me of snorkeling through the kelp along the Southern California coast. Coming up for air.

I'm thrilled that I purchased Robin's shower curtain. It's absolutely beautiful! Stepping into my bathroom and being greeted by these colors and the fun design makes me happy. In addition to it being a gorgeous piece of art, I'm pleased by the high quality of the shower curtain itself. This was a great purchase. Thank you, Robin!

It’s ok. The image is slightly blurred, and not drawn by Schultz. I think I’ll keep it, but it’s not great.

Artist's Description

I always get intrigued by the public display of statues and sculptures of famous people in various cities around the world. And when I see something like this one, I start to wonder. Who is this guy? Why is he on such a large public display in the middle of the city? What is his contribution to the city of Paris or to a country like France? Who is this Foch anyway??? Well, his name is Marshal Ferdinand Foch. He was a French soldier and military theorist who lived from 1851 to 1929. During the first war, he participated in a brief invasion of Germany before he ended up commanding the French army against a German counter-attack. After that, he was recalled as Chief of the General Staff, and was ultimately appointed to the position of "Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Armies. And in 1918, he was very successful in halting a renewed German attack on Paris in another battle, and he was subsequently promoted to Marshal of France. He was also made an honorary Field Marshal in the British Emp...
