Ausra, This is an adult treehopper. Part of its defense mechanism is that it is the size and shape of a thorn on a branch. Therefore, it can be easily missed due to its camouflage.

Your photo is incredibly sharp, crispy to tiniest detail on the subject while leaving a background fully diffused. No distractions from the main object. Really well done. F/v

I've never seen such a creature. Is it an adult fully developped bug or a middle stage of some flying insect, like moth or butterfly?
