This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

Love this painting and so many compliments as it's in a treatment room where my husband is a Chiropractor. His patients love it!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. We have been furnishing a missionary apartment and as soon as I saw this picture I knew it was the one! I know it will minister to each missionary that stays in our apartment just like it ministers to me.

She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.
Artist's Description
If you've wandered through my photos of Connemara in Ireland, there's no doubt you've noticed that there are quite a few roads featured in my works. In some part, this is simply because I love the concept of disappearing roads. They create a great focal point to lead one's eye through the landscape. And of course, there's the psychological side of those roads. On a symbolic level, they represent the unknown future, full of possibility but disappearing onto an unknown horizon.
Of course, I was wandering these roads on foot, so that had to play a part in my selection of view after view with narrow country lanes disappearing into the distance. It was after all, exactly what I saw before me as I put each foot in front of the other. But it was also on some level at least a subconscious realization of a dream. I had left a steady job only a few months before for an unknown future enjoying my loves of travel and photography. My dreams were realized but the future was wild and unknow...
About Mark Tisdale
Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist. That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. My body of work is wide ranging from photographic scenes of far away places, more near and dear locations, and more fanciful artwork. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
