2D image of wilflfowers in Maryland.
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau. Best Regards, Brian Wallace https://twitter.com/Starg82343

Thank you Randy. Somehow this one got by me with the "3D" implication. It's a normal 2D image, not 3D stereo, although I have others which are indeed 3D. FAA however doesn't display 3D stereo "Anaglyphs" well since it doesn't filter the Red and Cyan sufficiently. Because of this, I addressed the problem to Beth Edwards (interface for the administration) and decided not to upload anaglyph 3D stereos. I do have another 3D stereo format here which is called "Crossview". No glasses are needed to view this format but one is required to cross their eyes to see the depth effect.

While I do not have 3D glasses, I truly love how this piece turned out to the "normal" view, as it is just so nicely captured! Someday, I would like to experience the pleasure of viewing in 3D, but for now, I am pleased to view this very nice grouping of florals, with the somewhat muted sides and background, it is just superb, Brian!

Thanks Randy, for featuring my image in the group "Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery".

Thank you for viewing Glenda! My "niche" is really in 3D photography including anaglyphs. Anaglyphs however, require Red/Cyan filtered 3D glasses for viewing. An alternative is the "crossview" 3D format which does not require headwear but not all people are successful viewing because it requires converging (crossing) the eyes. I have examples of both formats in my galleries and intend to upload more. I'm concerned however that this unique image format will be largely unviewed because of the roadblocks mentioned above. Red/Cyan filtered 3D glasses are inexpensive and many internet companies sell them. Some even offer a pair of 3D glasses for free. I would recommend Rainbow Symphony, or American Paper Optics.
