Description
People, clients and even other artists tell me that my paintings make them smile. In this troubled busy world with such division, smiles are good ! Whenever I think of painting the Wilensky corner, my happy self comes alive. This little Light Lunch diner has served the community its famous Moe's special club roll sandwiches way back during my own High School days in the 60's right up to the present day. It is still a family-run business, the menu stays the same. Simple, plain easy-to-eat light meals are served the way " Duddy Kravitz" and his pals enjoyed this place. There are big bright tiles on the floor, high-padded stools, a couple of small tables, not much seating room since it's not a resto where lingering or loitering is favored. Paper bags are provided to those who prefer a quick take-out order. I come for the grilled cheese sandwich. I stay for the ambiance. Hockey kids are having fun outside this little sandwich shop and they come from up and down Clark street. A mom pulls her tots in a bright red sled, while over the restaurant, the tenant drapes some hockey team jerseys to dry in the sun.
This hand-painted original on canvas panel can be purchased at my gallery/studio in NDG, Montreal. If you live out-of-town, we ship to Canada and the USA. If you prefer a larger size you may order prints or products from this website and they are shipped to any world wide destination.
