This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
susan gahr photography. Windmills standing tall in the Texas sun for 100+ yrs. being erased by modern technology is a shame. They never quit ya..all they need is wind. We never get tired of looking windmills. In Texas they are a dying breed sad to say, as modern technology takes their scalps. Old timers & Ranchers still use them, the windfarms killed off a bunch & with that history turned a page. we love them. In Pecos we had 3 steel water tanks that filled & fed off of from the headqtrs.. we would go to bed to the clatter of the mills.singing their soft lullaby which was always soothing to me & i would go to sleep listening to the music they played all nite. loved it.
About Susan Gahr
My artwork is a collection of my memories in acrylics, water colors & pencils.I have done some oils & photography, jewelry. We spent a great deal life working on ranches in Ariz.,Calif & Pecos,Texas and now in Dickens County, Tx. Rode colts, thanks to the help of my brother in law who put up with me.He kept me from getting killed. Cowboyed on some ranches & day worked. Love to paint cattle, horses, kids & colts..... love it all from long haired little cowgirls to branding crews & shipping pens. I have friends from rodeo, to sale barns, bull riding cowgirls, & barrel racing fools.....they love it! The Great American cowboy/ranch life. We have lived on cow camps. It is a wonderful life. Whatever pulls at my heart I love to put down on...
