This man is windsurfing at the very end of Pleasure Island in North Carolina near Fort Fisher where the ferry comes in. It was a very windy day due to a storm off the island that later became a Nor'easter further up the coast. In the background you can see some of the dunes that are naturally all along the North Carolina coast.
