Wings Over Springs is an image dedicated to the awesome things that happen in Colorado Springs. The city has several Olympic training facilities which are represented by the five interlocking rings. Many of the Olympic offices are located down town. If you take Colorado Avenue toward the mountains, you can view Pikes Peak to the left and the Garden of the Gods to the right. These two landmarks are in the image. The next thing that is remarkable on Colorado Avenue is the wind. When it whips down the mountain, it hits my studio with enough force, it sounds like a boom. The wind is the swirling lines above Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Olympic rings. Finally, the wings themselves represent the many military bases and Airforce Academy.
