The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

I have been taking photographs since my Mom gave me my first camera for my 16th birthday. Sure wish we'd had digital way back then. I have no formal training but people tell me I have a good eye. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything, but prefer landscapes and nature photography. I also enjoy using the available filters in Paint Shop Pro. Even Ansel Adams fiddled with his photos by using exacto knives and chemicals. :) If you would like wording added to any of these images, or a color image in black and white, or a black and white image in color, please send me an email through this site, and I will be very happy to customize for you. Kristin, "Winter Wonder" is right! What a fabulously fragile-appearing work this is to where it seems if you only touch it, a limb or an icicle will break but the noise will be huge because there is an immense silence in this gorgeously framed scene. I also love how the silence is magnified by the stillness of the pond and the trees reflected. Wow and F/V!! Thank you for your kind comments at my site. Thanks, Gary. No, it's not a composite image. I did tweak the contrast and saturation and used a paintbrush stroke filter. The original is also posted in my gallery. :)
