This is a portrait painted of my father in law when he visited us. He had just washed his hair and was letting the wind dry it out. I took a photograph of him and used the photograph as reference. This was painted in 2 hours from my laptop computer in front of 30 students at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto Canada. High tec and low tec all in one sitting. Some of the students were disappointed because they thought I'd be using a digital paint program. Others were fascinated by the way you can move paint to look like a human face.
