Wow-Thank-you for all the thoughtful comments! I am humbled and grateful. :0)

I just wanted to tell you that I am not able to vote yet but I had been thinking that I would have voted for this picture that you painted in the contest and then you would have had as many votes as the one that won number 3 in the contest. I appreciate you detail work on the beard area and the hair of the monkey. Your skin tones are just wonderful. Sincerely Suebethian

Beautiful job of capturing the character of this man with a monkey. Love the piercing eyes and skin worn by living. fave and vote.

Nice work Joe - great to see your skill. Love his eyes!

Joey, this is certainly a magnificent work of art. Playing with your title, I wonder who has the Wit and who the Wisdom. Really can't compliment you enough, it has my vote.

I love the playfulness of this. The title leads me to feel the character knows something I hope to know one day.

Great painting. He seems to have a smile of a hidden secret. :)

I agree with all the comments - you have captured magic here!

Thank-you, Harpeet! I am flattered by your comments & pleased that you saw what I wanted to convey. Cheers, Joey Nash :-)

It is amazing as to how you have captured the expression, in that smile, a hidden, under the breath, and eyes, reflecting same, hidden expression of wisdom. In technique too, it is a great work. Harpreet

Thanks, Thomas! I had alot of fun creating this painting and a terrible time trying to name it. I'm curious to know what people think of this one, so I appreciate your comments. Cheers, Joey Nash :-)

The eyes, that look, the aging such talent. Great piece Joey.
