This is President Abraham Lincoln's second inaugural address on a wall inside the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. "With malice toward none with charity for all" is a famous line of the address, and it can be found at the beginning of the last paragraph. Lincoln's inauguration was on March 4, 1865, five weeks before he was assassinated on April 15th of that year.
The Lincoln Memorial is one of the largest and most visited memorials in Washington, DC. It was designed by architect Henry Bacon and stands at the western end of the National Mall, with its back on the bank of the Potomac River, since its dedication in 1922. Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States.
