This is my favorite, Frank. I'm always partial to great watercolors, and I can't say I've ever seen another with such a great expressive quality besides. Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous mastery of the medium! I, too, am a huge Brian Froud fan(my granpa gave me the Faerie book when I was young), and I can see the influence...

Congratulations on your $ale!

I love to read about what trigger artwok in the mind of the creator ! How did this one come too life?

I have written a graphic novel for children about an evil wizard (this is a painting of him), a boy, a bunch of fantastic creatures, and a forest full of treetch (walking, talking trees with faces). A friend of mine posed for this painting...

wow did you use prismacolors to define the eyes area? They are so controled that is stunning work again!

Yes, Danielle, I did use prismacolor pencils to create the details on the eyes. The painting started of course with lots of wet-into-wet watercolors.

Frank, the eyes in this portrait of Wizzlewump are absolutely amazing, your color choices really reinforce the emotion behind this portrait, it all says burning, and freezing anger. Congratulations on the sale.

I am in California, and I believe you are in Florida. I looked at some of your photos. Well done. And iit looks like you have had fun traveling the world over the years.
