The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,

Artist's Description

"Woman Walking in Ollantaytambo, Peru" by Catherine Sherman. A woman in traditional dress walks down an ancient street in Ollantaytambo, which dates from the late 15th century and has some of the oldest continuously occupied dwellings in South America. Many Inca walls still stand. The town is an important Inca archaeological site in southern Peru, about 32 miles (60 kilometers) northwest of the city of Cusco. It sits at an altitude of 9,160 feet) (2,792 meters) above sea level in the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco region. During the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti who conquered the region, built the town and a ceremonial center. At the time of the Spanish conquest of Peru it served as a stronghold for Manco Inca Yupanqui, leader of the Inca resistance. It is an important tourist attraction because of its Inca buildings and as one of the most common starting points for the three-day, four-night hike known as the Inca Trail...
