Tote Bag Reviews (1362)

This piece of art is special to me and I love having it on a bag: that’s what I paid for. But the tote itself is poorly sewn and oddly shaped. I unfortunately do not expect it to last very long. The sentimental value will lead me to keep it; but seeing the quality of the tote in person leads me to say I would not buy it again or would have let it go in the first place had I seen it in person.

High quality material and good resolution on the fabric.

I purchased this tote bag as a gift for a friend. The generous size makes it great for a variety of purposes. I use mine for groceries and a beach tote. I've been stopped by strangers asking where I got this unique bag, and it's a pleasure to reference people to this website. The bag is sturdy and well-made and the image is clear. I highly recommend Sandy Thurlow's art in all its forms.

I love this tote bag! I purchased one for myself and one for a friend. The generous size makes it great for carrying a fair amount of groceries, but I think it's an especially great tote bag to take to the beach. It's large enough for a towel, sunscreen, water, you name it. I highly recommend Sandy Thurlow's peace-inspiring artwork, especially in this fun-to-carry form.

About Emeka Okoro

Emeka Okoro

Oshogbo lies along the Oshun River, eternal home of Oshun, goddess of the river and beloved wife of Sango, fourth King of the Yorubas and god of thunder and lighting. In the mid-1950s, Oshogbo was a thriving metropolis that embraced African, Christian and Muslim traditions. The most important festival was the annual rite in honor of Oshun and people of all faiths and from all over the world came to celebrate. A group of artists honed their skills creating art works in honor of Kings, Queens and the Royal Houses, and repairing traditional shrines. The pioneering artists...
