Excellent achat ! Très belle reproduction (je l'ai choisiE sur bois) de cette Dormition qui l'emporte selon moi sur toutes les autres et à tous points de vue ! mais que l'on trouve plus difficilement proposéE (l'esthétique orthodoxe domine souvent le marché avec sa symbolique du Christ au bébé sur l'épaule et même de l''homme aux mains coupées restées sur le linceul: l'horreur...) Vite arrivée compte tenu des distances, et extraordinairement protégée par un super-emballage (une valisette intérieure avec des caleS intégrées sur mesure). Un détail appréciable aussi : des demi-sphères transparentes au dos du bois pour protéger le mur, et un système d'accrochage creux, à dents de scie, qui accepte tout type de crochet...Admiration pour le motif mais aussi pour la réalisation et les raffinements !

The Midwest is where I grew up, but as a child, I traveled to three continents with my parents and sister. My family's jewelry business took us everywhere! There wasn't a museum, monument, pyramid, or castle we missed along the way...Dad and a multitude of tour guides made certain of that! From the age of nine till we turned eighteen, our summers were filled with the sights, sounds, and tastes of the world. I attended Stephen's College from 1974 to 1979 where I graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art. I minored in Equestrian Science, of course! Now, one would expect I learned a lot from those 5 years, but I really didn't...at least, not what I was looking for. It was the mid seventies and well...you remember the seventies? Horse art was...
