This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Hello Ken, Thank you so much for your comments! I like your lock’s series paintings. I like the best this one!
Andrew Gillette
This is a wonderful painting- The shadows, rust and speckles make this a particularly eye catching work of art, and as a watercolor artist, I can see exactly how you superbly controlled the paint when needed, but let it have free rein to create a stunning level of realism.
Maureen Carter
Really like your 'locks' Ken. I have always admired the work of Andrew Wyeth and this one reminds me of some of the work of his I have seen, and especially appeals to me. Would like to know more about your 18th reproduction watercolours. Keep up the good work and enjoy your young family!! Watercolour is a never ending challenge and delight isn't it?
Elaine Van Staalduinen
I like the clean simplicity of your lock series, Ken. The textures are really lovely. I wish you lots of success with your paintings.
Marta Styk

Thank you for taking time to express such deep comments on my new piece.Lacedonia, is a small town in southern Italy, where my grandmother lived, and most of my childhood years were spent there, remembering long cold winters coloring and drawing on the table near by the fireplace... I see you are talented as well.this artwork in particular recalls warmth and happiness in a bright sunny day, looking at the lock, your imagination will create the rest of the scene around it,very interesting Ken.
