Working Together was created for the art show "Art For Autism," in West Hartford, CT, and was donated to The Greater Hartford chapter of Autism Speaks. The heavily textured original painting is Acrylic and Irredescent Acrylic on stretched canvas.

The puzzle pieces are "working together" and doing their part in a completed puzzle. We also are "working together" to research, advocate, raise awareneness and better understand the causes of Autism, and hopefully will someday find a cure.

Wendy Middlemass is a New England artist located in the northwest Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. Wendy began drawing as a small child from the time she could grasp a pencil. She also began taking lessons early on in Watercolor at age 6, and later lessons also in Oils. Wendy studied at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, and then some ten plus years later she pursued a career in commercial art at The Connecticut Institute of Art in Greenwich, CT, where she graduated first in her class. Some notable artists she has studied under include Steve Smulka, Dmitri Wright, William Krasnoborski and Herb Greene. Her paintings have been shown in galleries and shows throughout the New England region and currently in six online galleries.
