Bierstadt has always been a fav and I absolutely love this one! I LOVE the way the light is hitting the tree! You have to be careful about where you buy your prints from, it makes a huge difference. I bought this same exact piece from a company on Etsy and wow, no comparison. FAAs print is more clear and beautiful true colors, the warmth of it and the quality is superior when you compare the two. The other one is blurrier, and the colors are way too intense and off. I'll be sticking with FAA from now on!

I love this delicate and darling piece! It goes perfectly w/my bdrm decor! It's so sweet and looks beautiful in the gold frame I got for it. It's just adorable! The print quality and colors are excellent!

I love it! I’m giving it to my husband for his birthday on 5/5, so he hasn’t seen it yet but I know he’ll love it!

A little disappointed. I have a previous purchase by the same artist and were delighted. Across this particular print is a copyright notice. It isn't in a place where you can 'hide' with clever framing. I looked at out previous purchase and through the rest of this particular collection and this copyright notice is on most, some in a worse position than the one I bought. I've been offered my money back so no harm done but it should be made clear at the point of sale that this notice would appear and is not there to prevent people downloading a pirate copy. Like I say, very disappointed as it spoils the print.

About Michael Tompsett

Art and design has interested me since an early age. Art classes were the one lesson at school I genuinely looked forward to every week. After school and university I had the fortune to be able continue my passion in art and design, working as a senior designer at Conde Nast Publications in London. After an exhilarating 12 years I bid farewell to my job and England, moving to the south of Spain. I now dedicate myself full time to my artistic pursuits in the tranquil and idyllic surroundings of a Mediterranean coastal village. My main artistic focus is on City Skylines and Maps. Despite never having considered myself a trendsetter, I am proud to be known as the artist who started not one, but two global trends - namely abstract...

Wow! Well it is just amazing. I'm sure it was a learning experience as well. You must have learned tons of geography that you never knew!
Amber Hennessey
This is amazing! I can't even imagine how long this must have taken to create!
Michael Tompsett replied:
Hi Amber - yes a long time indeed! Strangely enough the hardest part was determining which cities to use in areas of the world I knew little about. Europe and North America were relatively simple, where the cities are household names. In comparison to say China. Apart from a couple of cities, i had little idea which other cities were important, whether it be for cultural, size, historical or industrial reasons, so areas like that took quite a bot of cross-referencing of sources. Worth it in the end though, and I learnt quite a bit about areas I never knew about before!
