About Sandra Pryer
Raymond started drawing as a child when his mother asked him and his brother to draw flower patterns on a paper towel. He won his first Art contest in a competition for the city of Philadelphia’s public school at the age of 9 years old. It’s theme centered on cleaning up the streets. He was one of 5 young artists to win. Raymond often received certificates for his achievements in Art, which allowed him to attend summer Art camp in Philadelphia as a young child. His life began making a turn in the wrong direction at the age of 14, when he was convicted of burglary and sent to a Juvenile institution at Glen Mills, PA.
