The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is a mixed media painting/illustration collage of WWll Americana part l. The painting features a WWll soldier, an outline of two people embracing, war planes overhead, a blue star military flag, a victory button and golden correspondence stamped 1944 with a six cent stamp. The original painting was executed in pastel, photos and paste on paper in a realistic style and commemorates the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy France this year. 1944-2014
About Mary Fanning
Mary Fanning was born an artist. She grew up in New Jersey and wrote and illustrated books and cards since the time she was seven years old. She graduated with a BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC, where she further developed her unique, soulful style.
