Description
Last Spring, I planted a bag full of wildflower seeds designed especially to attract butterflies. These delightful Rudbeckia plants were quite hardy and lasted late into Fall. They seem to just add a splash of sunshine wherever they bloom!
Rudbeckia is a plant genus in the sunflower family. The species are commonly called coneflowers and black-eyed-susans; all are native to North America and many species are cultivated in gardens for their showy yellow or gold flower heads. I think this one looks like it has a crown around its head. I believe this particular one is called a Rudbeckia Hirta.

Stunning capture of this beautiful flower, excellent light and clarity, gorgeous yellow shades and depth, love the pleasant symmetry of the petals and the delicate light contrast! l/f/G+
