Description
The fish of the day is yellowtail. Not yellow tail tuna for dinner, but this cute guy as eye candy! This South Pacific tropical fish species swimming through the coral is a male Threespot Wrasse, native to the western Indian Ocean. I was thrilled to spot this triplespot wrasse or Halichoeres trispilus while snorkeling near the Cook Islands.
Remember: Sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate will kill the corals!!!
