Average Rating (4.30 Stars):

Very nice bath towel. It is very large and thick. The picture is so pretty.

Very unique piece of art. Displayed in my living room and admired. Will highly recommend.

Daughter-in-law has the shower curtain, which she loves, and thought I'd get the hand towel to go with it. Didn't give it to her. The photo shows the entire towel, not what it looks like folded. When folded you only see some of the "splatters" on the bottom. If you turn it around the zebra's head is upside down. The way it's currently being produced, it isn't a suitable image for a hand towel.

I love the design but wanted to buy a towel that actually gets used - high polyester content makes that dubious. also: I was hoping to support American Artists as well as manufacturers - this sentiment got killed by giant "MADE IN CHINA" tag. Very sad.

Artist's Description

On a cold plain backed by jagged mountains a shaggy white beast trudges through the snow. Covered in long white hair and walking upright, this is the yeti, the mysterious cryptid also known as the abominable snowman that haunts the Peaks and valleys of the Himalayas. As he lumbers through a snowstorm, he turns towards the viewer bearing his large tusks. Generally, I try to keep my art consistent with the season. Technically, it is autumn right now, but with excessively cold temperatures hitting this year and reports of record snows in mid November from around the U.S. I felt it was time to release this winter themed scene. I rather think of this creature as representing the coming of a hard winter. This scene was inspired by one of the most well known images of Bigfoot, the Patterson film at Bluff Creek in California. I mimicked the creatures pose as it has become symbolic of the sasquatch/hairy-man type legends. Thanks for looking! Daniel Eskridge

About Daniel Eskridge

I am a forty-something living in the Metro-Atlanta area -- one of the few people who was actually born and raised here. I'm married and have two sons. By day, I am a senior software engineer. But, by night I am a 3D render artist. I have dual degrees from the University of Georgia, one in Computer Science, the other in Fine Art. So, it seems only natural that I attempt to combine the two by producing art using a computer. Plus, I find that it's a bit more practical than painting as it doesn't require all of the clean up, harsh chemicals, or expensive supplies. In fact, I have been a render artist since some of the first ray-tracing programs were made publicly available in the mid 80's. To follow me on facebook CLICK HERE. Check...
