Beautiful allium - I didn't know the nickname Yorktown Onions. Such a fun and interesting plant.

Thank you Nikolyn. In Yorktown Virginia the Yorktown onion is a protected plant that cannot be picked. Legend has it the seeds came here during the Revolutionary War mixed with crop seeds or fodder!
