Well expressed.Lisa. Thanks for the honest, truthful, raw and emotionally expressed feelings of loss and pain. It is OK to cry. As mentioned by my friend in my painting "Still Born" and "Sorrow"

I recently read some of your story and understand exactly where you were, are and will be. I began painting again as a way to evolve from the depths of despair and loneliness as reflected in several of my website blogs describing the inspiration behind the creation. I am sorry for your loss and for your sadness. Few know the silence felt in the heart when spirits are severed from deep within ones soul. It does get better in time and strengthens ones understanding of the importance of each moment.

Lisa, Your description of this piece was heart wrenching to read. Your words touched a raw place in my very soul. Although I have seen this piece while voting in contests, I never quite understood...until now. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding and may your cup overflow with his blessings. Claim Jeremiah 29:11-14, as I have, and "watch and see that the Lord is Good." Laura

Thank you, Obsessed w Frida Kahlo group for the feature!

Thk you, Steve for the compliment on my work. Yes, I was in much pain when I painted it. ;-/ From the heart and onto the canvas.

Thank you, Age of Goth, for the feature!

Thank you, "Can You Hear Me Now" group for featuring "Young Widow," I'm so glad you like the expression it communicates enough to feature it. You really made my day. Thank you "Galxcee World" for liking it too. It is validating when work that is so 'soul bearing' is noticed.

Thk you, Chrisann... I'm so glad you can see and understand the symbolic meanings that lie within. That may mean that you can relate and I am sorry about that. I am sorry for your loss. Ironic that those who have experienced only "the worst kind of pain" can really "get this." Thk you for enjoying my work and for your words about talent; you have talent too. Is there a better place to express your feelings or talent than on canvas? Hugs to you...

Also reading your discription, pain is such terrible pain, and the fear of loss or being sick. I see this expressed in so many ways, and that is talent!

Lisa, You paint, with expressing pain and hope. She is smiling, showing how she is healing after her heart was ripped out with her loss. How I know this pain, and my gosh your creative side and talent is expressed with excellence. Such a pleasure to see your work. :)

Time heals all.
