Thanks so much, Geoff.

Nice use of selective color and subject matter, Madeline!

Madeline Ellis replied:

Joan, thanks so much for your comment.

Love the selective color here, Madeline. And, as usual, your fantastic composition! :)

Madeline Ellis replied:

Thanks, Kristin, for your comment. I have a whole series of these boys. I loved watching them enjoy the sand play. Their expressions showed how much they were enjoying the beach. It brought back pail and shovel memories of my own.

Madeline, beautiful work....great processing...

Madeline Ellis replied:

David, thanks for the "beautiful" comment. It means a lot.

Good grocery or farmer's market bag. I feel the artist's name should be displayed on the product.

I love my new bag. It is so beautiful. I work in schools with children who have hearing loss and they love my bag. I get to share information about hearing loss with teachers in the school when they ask about the lovely picture. I also tell them about Ms. Soares. Thanks for sharing her story. It makes the picture even more unique. I had a difficult time choosing from all the options just related to hearing but fell in love with all of her offerings on this site. The quality of the bag is great also.

I purchased this for a gift and the recipient was blown away. The artistry is alive in this bag with Frida. Perfect!

Artist's Description

The look on these boys faces tells the story of childhood when all that is needed is water, sand and an imagination to experience joy.

About Madeline Ellis

I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...
