Description
This urban landscape includes the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge (or Zakim Bridge) in Boston, Massachusetts. A replacement for a truss bridge built in the 1950s, this cable-stayed bridge carries ten lanes of traffic across the Charles River. The bridge and connecting tunnel were part of the Big Dig project. The unique style of the bridge makes it a Boston landmark.

I Love the golden sunlight on this Boston landmark, Nikolyn! I have seen this bridge up close, in person, you have captured it wonderfully! From a distance this bridge resembles some sort of a stringed musical instrument. Nicely done! Good luck with your entries in the WFS In-House Contest! L/V&F

Zikolyn, Fantastic capture of this very historical bridge from Boston. I have seen this bridge in person while visiting Boston and you have captured it perfectly in this photo, love the golden tones and the great reflection on the water along with the great details of the buildings all around the bridge, excellent sky capture and remarkable clarity in this photo, fav and liked and selected as my PIF in the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thank you very much for the generous comment and the support, John. I appreciate it.
