I sent this to my daughter who is a "hockey mom." She loves it. Nice quality, very pleased. Kudos to Pixels.com as well. I messed up the shipping address and it was returned. They refunded my money and I reordered. Great customer service. Very pleased in all aspects of this transaction.

my wife's best friend once said "She can't be bamboozled" and it has been a source of laughter for years. This was the best happy nothing day gift and she wore it the next day to teach high school . Her teenage class had no idea what it meant which she loved.

Once nice again beautiful art work but dull colors are disappointing.

Beautiful art work but a bit disappointed with the dull colors. Look much brighter in the picture than in reality…
Brilliantly colored tableau on a classical theme by French neo-classicist Francois-Andre Vincent (1746-1816). Zeuxis was an innovative ancient Greek painter who flourished in the 5th century BC. Although none of his paintings have survived, contemporary accounts suggest that they were renowned for their realism; Zeuxis' technique created (probably for the first time) the impression of three-dimensionality through the manipulation of light and shade. Is the painting's title a reference to the famous (and pious) women of Croton that Pythagoras famously addressed at the Temple of Hera in Croton (modern-day Crotone?) on the 'toe' of Italy? Google searches have failed to come up with an answer; if anyone out there has more info on this, do get in touch.
