American Desert Southwest -- Flora and Fauna

About this Group

American Desert Southwest -- Flora And FaunaImages must be from the American Desert Southwest (such as Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, California) with the main focus on wildflowers, trees and other plant life, or images of animals that live in the Southwest such as reptiles, big horn sheep, wild horses or burros or similar.

Please Note -- no people, domestic animals or broad landscapes that don't meet the above requirements. Images that don't apply to the plants and animals of the American desert in the Southwest will NOT be included no matter how beautiful your landscapes or sunset may be. I have been getting a lot of beautiful sunsets, canyons with no plant life, rock formations, etc. and while they are beautiful images, I have to reject them. Please don't let this discourage you, I am simply keeping to the guidelines set forth where I require plants or animals from the desert Southwest.

Please remember the main focus is on the amazing range of beautiful trees, shrubs and wildflowers that thrive in this harsh environment, along with the wonderful array of wildlife, birds and reptiles that can be found here. And -- Thank you all so much for making this a fabulous group.

Photographs, digital art and original works of art are all welcome. I look forward to meeting all of you and seeing your beautiful art.

PLEASE NOTE: Again, I emphasize -- No matter how stunning your landscape or sunset photo or painting may be, it will not be included if it doesn't focus mainly on plant life and/or animals. I have been getting a lot of incredibly beautiful landscapes submitted to this group that are breathtaking, but this is not the group for rock formations, canyons or similar without animals or an abundance of plant life. Thank you for you understanding.
