PHILANTHROPIC ARTISTS FOR A CAUSE WHO DONATE PIXELS-FAA PROCEEDS OR ORIGINAL ARTWORK: This group aims to promote artists and photographers who donate part or all of their artist proceeds from FineArtAmerica sales or original artwork to a legitimate charitable organization or organizations.
YOUR CHARITY OR CHARITIES SHOULD BE MENTIONED IN YOUR BIOGRAPHY. If you have selected artworks that benefit your cause, this should be MENTIONED IN THE ARTWORK DESCRIPTION.
Tell us about your fundraising activities and the charities or causes that you raise money for in the group DISCUSSIONS area.
There is a DISCUSSION string to post your SALES since you joined the group.
It is my hope that this group will give artists who are trying to do good with their art more visibility and increase sales which will benefit the charities and causes represented.
TWO IMAGE SUBMISSIONS A DAY. You can submit any of your images as long as at least one of your total images raises money for charity or you donate your original art or artistic talent for charity. Please keep the images family friendly. I feature all images submitted except photos of two-dimensional work done by an artist other than the photographer that might involve a copyright infringement.
WE HAVE WINNERS FOR OUR FALL GROUP LOGO CONTEST! Our contest ended at 10:54 AM EDT on Tuesday, October 19. Congratulations to the many of our group members who placed in our Group Logo Contest!! Our First Place winner is Cybele Chaves for her sweet artwork, Koala Joey. Her artwork will be our Group Logo for the next three months starting October 21th. We had a large group of people with the same number of votes in Second and Third Place, so I am going to combine Second and Third Place together. Our winners are Wendy Wu for her Cat Ink Drawing, Richard Thomas for My 2020 Wish, Alfons Niex for Scream for Justice, Jim Hatch for Eyes, Norma Brandsberg for National D-Day Memorial, and Stan Esson for Face of a Woman. All of these winners will have a special Homepage Feature for one month. When the same artist had more than one image, I chose the one I felt most appropriate to the group, as a winner can only have one prize. Thanks to all who participated in the contest and voted. You are all winners for your giving hearts!
