If you love Diane Arbus, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Bruce Weber and Joel Meyerowitz, or if you simply love to capture human behavior in public places, I hope you will join the group and submit some of your best street photos!
But please don't submit floral or landscape or architectural images. I will not accept them. Nor will I accept most posed portraits. What this group is about is photos of people in public places, preferably the street although the beach, a museum or park will work as well.
Wikipedia has a simple definition of Street Photography:
'Street photography is a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions and other settings.' I plan to follow this definition as closely as I can.
I look forward to seeing your brilliant street photos!
