Dan Terry, Austin Muralist To Be Featured At RAW Artist Austin Showcase

Multitalented "Renaissance man" Dan Terry, of Austin TX is to be the featured exhibitor showcasing his fine art and film animation and innovative stringed musical instruments at the exclusive RAW Artist Austin Spectrum show on April 10th at the Belmont Lounge in the heart of the Austin's hip entertainment district on W. Sixth Street. Few artists have both as broad a spectrum of creative work and national award winning credibility as Terry who's racked up first place accolades in computer animation, fine art painting, teaching, and acting. He took first place in the Aurora Computer Animation Competition at the prestigious SIGGRAPH show, exhibited and won awards in multiple juried competitions including at Laguna Gloria Museum, the Witte Museum, the McNay Museum, the National Pastel Show at the National Arts Club in NYC, and mentored the national first place team of the National Student Advertising Competition sponsored by the American Advertising Federation. His work in film and television as actor, director, cameraman, and production designer fills a full page at IMDB.com (the international movie database) and he recently completed a pair of commissions for murals at the new Davinci Italian Pub Patio in Austin's swank and trendy 6th Street entertainment district unveiled as the a few hundred thousand visitors from around the world converged on the city's international SXSW festival.

The RAW ARTIST AUSTIN SPECTRUM exhibit features over 30 visual artists, a fashion show, short film screenings (including Terry's animation showcase reel), two DJ's and several live music performances on April 10, from 8 to midnight at the Belmont at 305 W. Sixth Street.
