I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
The Navajo Nation is Native American-governed territory 27,425 square miles, occupying portions of northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah, and northwestern New Mexico. It is the largest land area assigned to a Native American jurisdiction within the United States.
.............
The area is by far the largest Indian reservation in the United States; it is nearly the same size as the state of West Virginia.
.............
Situated within the Navajo Nation are Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Monument Valley, Rainbow Bridge National Monument, and the Shiprock landmark. The eastern portion of the reservation, in New Mexico, is popularly called the "Checkerboard" because Navajo lands are mingled with fee lands, owned by both Navajos and non-Navajos, and federal and state lands under various jurisdictions. Three large non-contiguous sections entirely surrounded by New Mexico are also under Navajo jurisdiction: the Ramah Navajo Indian Reservation, the Alamo Navajo Indian Re...

Nadine and Bob Johnston
This is an image We can look at for hours. My eyes rest on many points, and notice the detail as if actually there, taking time to see it all. Many times when visiting Monument valley, we pull the camping chairs out of the Van, and just sit. Sometimes Nadine takes out her sketch book, and composes a different image than those Im taking. Spending an hour in one place creates a very memorable experience for us in our opinion, than the majority of tourist who pull in grab a snapshot, jump in the car and leave, when they could have captured 10-100 different views in the park, from the same viewpoint.
Bob and Nadine Johnston replied:
Note, the two lane dirt road at the base of the hill in foreground. Thats about 20feet wide, giving a point of reference and size. The Monument in the distance is about 5 miles from the camera.
