Artist's Description
While traveling the back roads of Southern Idaho I came upon this old abandoned home. I wonder who used to live here and how much land they farmed.
I always try to capture such scenes, because one day soon these old pioneer settlements will be gone forever.

I totally agree with your wanting to photograph such scenes. This is so wonderful. I love all the details and the variety of textures. There is a sense of history that does, indeed, cause one to wonder. Nice composition, Nick. f/v

Karen Adams
Really well done! We had a speaker at our camera club the other night who said when he looks at an image he always thinks of the ways the photographer could have screwed it up, wrong angle, or crop, or color, etc. You got the perfect angle of this shot to make it just right! and really like the subtle colors! vf
Nick Boren replied:
Thanks so much for the compliments Karen and I'm glad you like my abandoned image. :-)
Heidi Smith

Awesome shot! I also wonder what it must have looked like in it's day, just like all our old barns are being torn down one by one. v/f
Nick Boren replied:
Yes your right Debbie most of them are either being torn down or they fall down. This is why I like to photograph them before they are totally gone. I do appreciate your comments very much dear friend. :-)
