MODEL RELEASED. Blind drug trial. Conceptual image of a blindfolded woman facing a choice between two sets of coloured drug capsules. This image represents a type of clinical drug trial known as a blind study. Those receiving the new drug are not told which of the treatments they are given. If the researchers also do not know which treatment is being given, this is known as a double-blind study.
